Origami pieces: Final Images: Materials: Paper, photoshop Mental health is one of the most important things to me. I always choose mind over matter. For this portrait, I made a lotus flower out of construction paper and took a picture of it to photoshop it onto the model's head. It covers the whole head to represent a healthy mentality. The lotus symbol relates to my identity because even in the most difficult conditions, I thrive and reach towards the sun, just like the flower. Thus, I photoshopped the lotus flower looking up toward the sun.
